SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 26

Recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of Christopher
Skaggs, a medical student at Marshall University.
Whereas, Christopher Skaggs, a native West Virginian from
Ansted, Fayette County, is a third-year student at Marshall
School of Medicine with a 4.0 grade point average and scored
among the highest in the United States Medical License
Examination; and
Whereas, Prior to his decision to attend medical school at
Marshall University, Christopher Skaggs graduated Summa Cum Laude
from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy; and
Whereas, Upon his graduation as a physician from the
Marshall University School of Medicine, Christopher Skaggs,
ambition is to remain in his beloved state as a primary care
physician in service to the citizens of West Virginia; therefore,
be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby recognizes the outstanding academic
achievements of Christopher Skaggs, a third-year medical student at the Marshall University School of Medicine; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Senate admires the ambition of
Christopher Skaggs to remain in his beloved West Virginia as a
primary care physician in service to West Virginia's citizens;
and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to Christopher Skaggs and the
president of Marshall University.
